The Insides of an Instrument
This print campaign for the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra uses macro photographs taken inside the cramped spaces of instruments making the inner workings of a violin, cello, flute, and pipe organ appear vast and spacious, almost as if you could walk around inside them. So wonderfully done. Art directed by photographer Bjoern Ewers, you can see more over on Behance.

The opening sentence on Old Try’s “About” page states:
“We’re a couple from Alabama and North Carolina who moved to Boston a few years back. We miss the South. But we aren’t quite ready to move back there.” Boy, do I know what you mean. I think most Southerners transplanted in the North, East, or West can relate to the strong pull of the South, forever, yet the eagerness to explore elsewhere. I love these designs, but like a true Southerner From Another Mother, I want to support my people. See more of what Old Try is all about and let’s have a round of applause for the South!
